Holiday celebrations mean different things to different people, but nothing sets the tone for said parties quite like the right combination of food and drink.
8 ounces penne pasta, cooked, drained and cooled slightly 1 head frisee, cleaned and chopped 1 cup mushrooms, sliced 1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 2 cloves garlic, crushed Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 1 cup crumbled blue cheese 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, coarsely chopped
Methods/steps
In large bowl toss together pasta, frisee, mushrooms, and bell pepper. In small bowl whisk together oil, vinegar, garlic and salt and pepper; pour over salad and toss well. Add cheese and nuts, toss again and serve immediately.
