Salinas, CA– Mayor Dennis Donohue welcomed Chef Lidia Bastianich to the Salad Bowl of the World this summer. Lidia Bastianich currently hosts her third television show Lidia’s Italy in New York City; she was in California shooting a series on Italian culture and cuisine in America. Four generations of family, including Bastianich’s mother, have assisted Lidia in her restaurants, cookbooks, and television programs to date.
